We are fortunate to have access to NoveList through GALILEO! NoveList is a service from EBSCOhost that provides book reviews and recommendations for our library patrons—if you are looking for more information on a book or a book similar to one you’ve read, this service is for you! You can also find book discussion guides, book talks, feature articles, author biographies, and more!
NoveList has recently had a “face lift”, and you will now see a new interface. Here are some tips from NoveList for taking a tour of the new and improved NoveList! If you need any assistance using the new NoveList interface, please see Mrs. Hamilton or Mrs. Fleet for help.

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer! This book had the most votes we have ever seen in the past 4 years!
Â
The Honor Book Winners are:
I’d Tell You I Love You But Then I’d Have to Kill You by Ally Carter and Peeps by Scott Westerfeld
Â
The three winners will receive hand-blown peach trophies by Lillie Glass Company. Thanks to all the schools and public libraries that voted! We had over 80 libraries respond this year, the most ever!  Look for all the 08-09 information, such as PowerPoints, booktalks, discussion guides, etc. to be posted in the next few weeks on the website: http://www.glma-inc.org/peachaward.htm

But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it’s a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again.”
Terence Mann, Field of Dreams
As we approach the eve of opening day of Major League Baseball, we want to point you to a fabulous resource from the Library of Congress about the history of baseball: America’s Pastime.  A treasure trove of information awaits you, including:
