From Monday, March 14 until Friday, April 1, students can have up to $10.00 in fines forgiven by participating in a charity event that is sponsored by the women’s group at Orange United Methodist and supported by The Unquiet Library. Students with fines can have fines forgiven (and help our community) during this time period to help provide hygiene kits for children who are in need.
Items we will accept include new, unopened, and unused:
- Deodorant
- Shampoo
- Body wash
- Toothbrushes
- Toothpaste
- Q-tips
The Fine Forgiveness Schedule
- Fines $.99–$2.00 any two of the following items above
- Fines $2.01–$4.00 any three of the following items above
- Fines $4.01–$6.00 any four of the following items above
- Fines $6.01–$8.00 any five of the following items above
- Fines $8.01–$10.00 any six of the following items above
The amnesty does NOT include fees for lost/missing/damaged books. Fines can be reduced up to $10.00 by donating these goods.
