How will the money be used?

100% of the funds donated will be used to purchase high quality, shelf-ready books and other media center materials.

Are donations tax-deductible?

Your donation benefits Creekview High School and may be tax-deductible; see your tax advisor.

Can I donate books?

Unfortunately, no. We are unable to accept book donations for the media center. Our books are specially bound and labeled according to our library-specific standards.

Bring in those nickels!

Attention all students:  today is our nickel drive for our Book Fair and our efforts to help buy books for schools in New Orleans.  Please donate any spare nickels you may have to your English teachers today!  The class period that donates the most loose change by Friday afternoon will win a free pizza party from The Unquiet Library!  Bring in your spare change!

So far, Mrs. Frost’s 5th period is stomping the competition—they brought in $22.62 on Monday!!!!  Way to go 9th graders!  Let’s see if the other classes can step up the donations today!  You can also make donations for our efforts to buy books for school libraries in New Orleans by visiting the library.

Don’t forget to check out the book fair this week!  We have many great selections for readers of all ages, especially teens!
