Winter Events @ The Sequoyah Regional Libraries

Here is the lineup of fun events at our local Sequoyah Regional Libaries during January and February 2008! Come by our media center if you need more information.

Sequoyah Regional Libraries will be closed Tuesday, January 1, 2008 and Monday, January 21, 2008.

Tuesday, January 22
6:30 P @ RT Jones Memorial Library
Teens Book’n Anime Drawing Class
Teens, ages 13-18 are invited to breathe life into their drawings using modern animation techniques. Refreshments and prizes provided.

Thursday, January 24
6:00 PM @ Pickens County Library
Fear Factor Food
Teens, ages 13-18, are invited to challenge themselves to an evening of gastronomical feats. Great fun and plenty to eat.

Monday, February 4
6:30 PM @ RT Jones Memorial Library
Teens Book’n 80’s Night
Teens, ages 13-18, are invited for a big-hair night of Eighties music and trivia. Prizes for best dressed.

Saturday, February
12:00 PM @ the new Gilmer County Library
Teen Film Party
Ahoy, all ye pirate lovers! Teens at least 12 years of age are invited to come dressed as a character from the Curse of the Black Pearl and enjoy an in-film scavenger hunt. Plus, trivia, quotes, popcorn and so much more.

Monday, February 18
6:30 PM @ RT Jones Memorial Library
Teens Book’n Game Night
Teens, ages 13-18, are invited to try their luck at a wheel of fortune game just for teens.

Thursday, February 28
6:00 PM @ Pickens County Library
Candy Palooza
M&M Bingo, gum drop tic-tac-toe, chubby bunny and more fun candy games. This evening promises fun for teens, ages 13-18.
