National Book Award Winners 2009 Announced

The 2009 National Book Award Winners were announced last evening!  The winner of in the Young People’s Literature category was Phillip Hoose for Claudette Colvin:  Twice Toward Justice, the story of a young Alabama teen who refused to give her up bus seat to a white woman on a segregated a few months before the Rosa Parks incident.
