  1. Wow! They were FANTASTIC, especially for a small school group! The diction dynamics, and continuous (staggered) breathing in “Carol of the Bells” was exemplary. I was also impressed by their open mouths with resulting clear tone and resonant sound. The key changes and complex chords and rhythms in “Deck the Halls” were also stunning.

(I am 42 and in a choir who has sung at Carnegie Hall under the direction of John Rutter, so I have some personal experience by which to judge them!)

Please extend my heartiest congratulations to these students and especially their teacher for the hard work and fine, if impromptu, performances. In a day and age where the arts are being cut from schools right and left, they are lucky to have the quality of vocal education they are receiving!

Thank you so much for sharing the talents of your students so readily online at Christmas. It was awe inspiring and greatly appreciated.
